Becoming a parent radically reshapes time, space, and identity. This program explores how artistic practice can remain viable, using parenting as a framework to generate new creative methodologies, visual languages, and sustainable practices.
My focus will be to embrace slow, iterative, daily or weekly routines embedded within caregiving rhythms in my art during my first year of parenting.
For those that participate in the sessions as creatives: there will be opportunities to share/exhibit/publish work at the end of the year if you are keen to submit anything you have made during the sessions.
